You can earn a minor in Computing Technology and Applications through the Department of Computer Science.

The minor in Computing Technology and Applications is designed for those who realize that their chosen field requires the regular use of computing skills, but do not wish to become computer scientists.

Curriculum

The minor in Computing Technology and Applications (offered by the Department of Computer Science) is primarily designed for students pursuing an online degree and who desire to enhance their skill set to compete in today’s rapidly advancing technology. This minor is offered online and requires 18 credit hours of CS courses that are specifically designed for non-majors. Students can choose from the Web or Spreadsheet sequence options below.

Admission

Before selecting a minor, you must be admitted to a major program (bachelor’s degree). You can pursue the minor of your choice along with your major coursework after gaining approval from your advisor.
