About the EdS in Educational Psychology - School Psychology Degree Program
There is a pressing need for school psychologists, particularly in the Southeast region of the United States. A growing interest in the way mental health and behavioral problems such as bullying affect learning is the driving force behind the increased need for school psychologists. They are also needed for general student counseling on a variety of other issues, including working with students with disabilities or with special needs, tackling drug abuse, and consulting and managing personal crisis.
The EdS in Educational Psychology - School Psychology program offered through The University of Alabama is designed to enhance data-based decision making and accountability, intervention and prevention in the instructional environment. To meet the demands of an educator's career, the program is offered in a blended format that combines online coursework with weekend meetings on campus. The blended format gives you the convenience of online learning with the opportunity to network with your professors and colleagues.
You can complete the program in four years of part time study without disrupting your career.
