Admission - Special Education Collaborative 6-12 Certification
Admission to the MA program requires the following:
- Class B or higher-level professional educator certification
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or a 3.0 average for the last 60 hours in a degree program,
or a 3.0 or higher in a completed graduate program
- Minimum score of 300 on the GRE or 50th percentile on the MAT
Admission to the Alternative MA program requires the following:
- A baccalaureate degree including 60 semester or 90 quarter hours of general studies
courses in humanities, social science, laboratory science, and mathematics (at or
above college level algebra)
Individuals interested in the alternative program must submit appropriate paperwork
to the College of Education Student Services and Certification Office for a transcript evaluation prior to admission.
A completed application package for both includes official transcripts from all institutions
attended, three letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, official test scores,
and a Graduate School application.
Applications are accepted each semester.
