Students are provided with the tools to manage, resolve, negotiate and mediate conflict and to develop intrapersonal and interpersonal skills that can help them both inside and outside the classroom. You will learn to communicate with unique and diverse individuals and groups. The courses in this program will actively engage you in self-exploration regarding issues of perception, bigotry, bias, values, beliefs, differences and culture.

Courses for this program are offered completely online in order to accommodate working adults, and they are taught by the same faculty who teach on campus at UA. Upon successful completion you should be able to:

  • Apply general conflict management, negotiation and mediation strategies to work functions, especially on the supervisory level
  • Demonstrate effective conflict resolution skills and understanding of ethics involving general and specific workplace issues
