MS in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics
At The University of Alabama, students can earn a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering
& Mechanics (MSAEM) degree.
The distance learning MSAEM degree program, offered through the College of Engineering, is both flexible and convenient. As a student enrolled in the distance learning MSAEM degree program, can take courses online or via video-streaming. Examinations are conducted in pre-determined, proctored locations thereby requiring no on-campus visits for students enrolled in the program. Distance learning classes follow the same calendar as the University's on-campus semester system.
The distance learning MSAEM degree program offered at The University of Alabama places emphasis on three general areas of specialization:
- Dynamics, Flight Dynamics, and Controls
- Fluid Mechanics, Aerodynamics, and Propulsion
- Solid Mechanics, Flight Vehicle Structures and Materials
Courses are offered in these areas and in other areas related to aerospace engineering
and mechanics as faculty expertise and availability permit.
Additional information and degree requirements can be found in the Graduate Programs section of the Department of Aerospace Engineering & Mechanics website (http://aem.eng.ua.edu/graduate/).
