Alabama's LL.M. concentration in Business Transactions is a 24 credit-hour program designed to train students to serve the needs of clients throughout the life cycle of a business venture beginning with formation and choice of business entity, then addressing financing in the growth phase, possible reorganizations and mergers as the business matures and then finally the law effecting recession and dissolution.

The course of study is interdisciplinary in fields of law and business, including tax, finance, intellectual property, entrepreneurship, and traditional corporate classes.
