Welcome to the Advanced Placement Summer Institute 2012.
The University of Alabama is pleased to partner with the College Board* to offer the Advanced Placement
(AP)* Institute for teachers who are current AP teachers looking to strengthen their program or teachers who are new to the AP program seeking guidance on curriculum and teaching methods.
The Advanced Institute is designed for experienced teachers who have previously attended an introductory AP training session and have taught an AP course for at least two years. The Introductory Institute is for teachers new to AP or with minimal training in AP.
Session I: July 9-12, 2012
Session II: July 16-19, 2012

All sessions are held at the Bryant Conference Center on the campus of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday and conclude at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Registration is limited to 30 participants per session. Registrations are only accepted with a check or credit card. Please visit the Cost page under General Information for the new billing policy.
