To meet the needs of the part-time adult student, The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration and the College of Continuing Studies offer, through the evening program, upper division courses that can lead to a bachelor of science degree in C&BA with a major in management.

Management is a major that focuses on the critical processes by which the resources of an organization are systematically directed toward the achievement of its mission.  Management students learn flexibility in order to apply their skills in a variety of settings.  In addition, students study a wide range of business-related subjects to develop a solid foundation in general business principles and skills.

Management is a challenging and ever-expanding career field.  Graduates of this program will be qualified to pursue careers in human resources management, in small business environments, and as management trainees in large organizations.  The degree can also help a working professional already in the field advance along his or her current career path.
